Project: Automatic winding and packaging station. The key element of this project was the gear ratio between rotor and reel. In conventional systems, this ratio can only be changed mechanically by building costly pieces that take hours to replace. S.M.R.E. has created a virtual transmission to link the two axes through complex software that can change the ratio in just a few seconds by simply modifying the program code.
