To bond PVC, Crystal (see-through PVC) and other thermoplastics S.M.R.E. offers automatic linear welding machines with hot air technology. With the incorporated Intelligent Torque technology the processed fabric is kept under exactly the right tension at all times during the welding cycle, thus ensuring unparalleled results in terms of aesthetics, quality and strength of the seam.
S.M.R.E. has introduced an integrated welding and cutting solution for the automated production of truck covers and roofs – the SM-321-HA series. This machine is able to cut and weld a complete 14 meter truck cover with 5 or more length reinforcing strips and 21 transversal strips in approximately 14 minutes. Like most S.M.R.E. solutions the SM-321-HA can be fully custom made according to the end customer’s specific production requirements.
