Project: The project involved cutting and trimming the 3D profile for the right and left roof parts of the FIAT Stilo using ultrasonic technology.

This system included a rotating loading and unloading island to enable the operator to manoeuvre the pieces without interrupting the production line.

The great innovation of this system is not simply its high quality, cauterized ultrasound cutting, but the versatility provided in defining and modifying the cutting profile.

Previously, the edges of a profile were cut using complex, costly moulds that would become obsolete when the vehicle model was changed or when shapes were substantially remodelled.

Besides the fact that each cutting file modification is now software managed, this system can also be adapted to other vehicle models by simply changing the software.
