SM-360-TA Computerized multiple tool pantograph
SM-360-TA is a multiple tool pantograph designed to process a wide range of materials, from wood and leather, to Plexiglas, Forex, Kapa-mount and cardboard.
Main characteristics:
- Extremely solid, heavy duty steel and aluminum structure for the processing of heavy sheets of materials and fabrics.
- Motion created by highly efficient brushless servomotors, controlled by industrial CNC with ISO programming.
- Servomotors run on massive steel helical racks to guarantee maximum control, speed and acceleration.
- Can simultaneously install a great number of tools in different combinations, thus overcoming a common problem in many modern small or medium businesses: the need to process many materials with very different characteristics.
- Available tools: rotary blades, drag knife, creasing head, motorized cutter, oscillating cutter, punching tool, CO2 laser cutter, galvanometric CO2 laser marker, milling head and hot-melt gluing kit.
- Hi-Tech Cutting Head (HTCH), an extremely compact and efficient tool head, enables the simultaneous installation of up to 6 cutting, marking and scanning tools.
- Can simultaneously install a powerful 2,2 kW milling head or a laser cutter on the other side of the bridge, for a total number of 8 tools on a single pantograph.
- Full automatic cycle. A computer controlled grip-and-pull system pulls the fabric off of the roll, square cuts the fabric to size, then spreads it on the work top.
- The dynamic cutting frame, or zero-point, can be chosen with the joystick on the tool bridge or on the computer, thus enabling the machine to process not only fabrics off of the roll, but manually positioned materials as well.
- A powerful vacuum turbine secures the processed material to the working surface so that it will not move during the cutting cycle.
- Optional sectioning of the vacuumed surface to concentrate the suction power.
- Optional scanning system for the acquisition of patterns and models and the automatic creation of cutting files in DXF format.
- Optional projection system to assist the operator in manually positioning the patterns on the cutting surface according to characteristics of the fabrics and materials that are to be processed.
- Tracking Power Control (TPC) adjusts the power of the laser beam according to the characteristics of the material that is cut and automatically synchronizes the power of the laser with its moving speed.
- TPC-technology assures extremely high cutting quality, even when highly complex patterns are cut or when the cutting cycle is interrupted and then resumed. TPC-technology makes truly extraordinary cutting quality possible on materials for which laser cutting is commonly thought impossible, like leather, cardboard o paper.
- Easy Works Xtreme CAD/CAM software makes operating of the SM-360-TA easy and very efficient.
- Operator can select a great number of working options, like an automatic nesting program that fits the various shapes on the work top, optimizing the cutting sequence, increasing the speed, while greatly reducing discards.
- Digi-View software and integrated camera read reference marks and automatically correct position, stretching and shrinkage caused by the printing process.
- S.M.R.E. software is compatible with all current CAD programs available on the market and can import and manage files written in DXF and EPS formats.
- For high quality 3 dimensional milling, the machine can install ArtCAM software.
SM-360-TA is a thoroughly tested machine that has proven its worth and reliability throughout the years. A complete pantograph suitable for cutting, milling, creasing, marking and etching countless materials with very different characteristics, delivering fast and efficient, high precision work.
Applications:
- Cutting, marking, milling and creasing of a wide range of fabrics and materials, ranging from Forex, Plexiglas, Kapa-mount, wood, leather, PVC and other technical and industrial fabrics.
