Hot air welding head for keder, pocket, or rope-in-pocket applications
Fold the fabric and automatically create a hem or pocket, a rope-in-pocket, or apply a keder to the edge of the panels. The motorized welding wheels and specifically designed guides keep the fabric under control at all times during the welding cycle, and ensure seams of the highest quality.
Double welding heads to apply eyelet straps
These very large welding tools feature a twin heating system with double air output and are designed to apply a wide strap with eyelets to large fabric panels. Welding wheels are motorized for total fabric control and perfectly flat, extremely strong seams.
Motorized unwinding system
This system automatically feeds the fabric into the machine at a programmable speed, perfectly synchronized with the pulling speed of the machine. Avoids the fabric from stretching during the pull, which would compromise the precision of the finished product. Features digital edge control with twin sensors that read the exact position of the fabric and – if necessary – automatically correct the position of the roll. Features automatic tension control with digitally controlled dancer systems for a very smooth fabric feed. According to your production requirements, SM-450-SA can be equipped with a single or with a multiple unwinding systems.
Multiple layer heat resistant conveyor belt for total fabric control
The optional heat resistant conveyor belt and powerful vacuum turbine installed under the machine ensure total fabric control and a perfect, split-second synchronization of the fabric movement and start-and-stop of the welding heads, allowing SM-450-SA to create seams without burning marks even on very light colored fabrics.
Twin laser heads for symmetrical fly-cuts
These hi-tech cutting tools are installed on a travelling bridge that follows while it is being fed into the machine. The twin laser heads are able to fly-cut symmetrical CAD/CAM patterns without interrupting the welding cycle, and guarantee an exceptional production output.
