Pure water cutting head
Waterjet is a technically simple, low cost cutting technology that ensures fast, precise and clean cuts, even on thick sheets or multi-layer materials. With its diameter of a fraction of a millimeter the waterjet beam makes extremely precise cuts on materials that are difficult to process with conventional cutting tools. Where a laser will burn through the material and cause a heat affected zone, a waterjet does burn or otherwise alter the physical characteristics of the material and leaves the cutting edges clean and smooth.
Pure water cutting head for 2,5D cuts w/5 axes (X/Y/Z/W/360°)
SM-805-WJ features an optional 5 axes waterjet cutting head. This high performance mechanism makes 2,5 D cuts to create 3 dimensional shapes and is ideal to manufacture products such as sound proofing cushions, instrument suitcases, and advertisement gadgets.
Intensifier pump 15/30/50 HP (4100 bar)

Cutting head for abrasive cutting
This technology mixes water with natural abrasive sand and is used to cut a number of rigid materials that are difficult to process with conventional cutting systems. Heavy rubber, granite, marble, iron, steel, brass, aluminum, very hard plastics, even glass can be cut with great precision with this technology. With a diameter of a fraction of a millimeter, the micro jet creates complex patterns rapidly and with great precision. The water-with-abrasive beam also polishes the material during the cutting cycle, and leaves the edges clean and smooth.
Water Level Control (WLC)
A simple and effective system that manages the water level in the container underneath the cutting surface. By means of an air-filled expansion tank the operator can raise or lower the water level. When the material that is to be cut is placed on the cutting surface the operator pushes a button to raise the water level until the material is covered. WLC is installed when SM-805-WJ is used with abrasive sand. With WLC, cutting is done underwater, ensuring clean working cycles, less water spray and cutting debris.
